Greetings!
Thank you for visiting this site. I am a studio jeweler in San Francisco, California. I am awed by metal and its possibilities, and I am constantly seeking new ways to expand my metal vocabulary.
Recent Publications: My work has recently been featured in
ART JEWELRY MAGAZINE. My article on "Sterling Roses in Frame" was seen in the November 2005 issue, and the "Square Circle Bracelet" is the subject of an article in the September 2006 issue.

About my work: I was lucky enough to discover jewelry in 1989 through the teachings of Richard Leaf, jewelry instructor at the Sharon Art Studio in San Francisco. More recently, I have studied torch fire patinas and torch fire enameling with Deborah Lozier and explored some of the mysteries of the hydraulic press with Anne Hollerbach. Master classes with other experts help keep me fresh!

During my years at Sharon Art Studio, I was privileged to meet David Smith, studio assistant and my best jewelry friend and mentor. David's passing in October 2004 was a great loss to his family and friends, especially those in the jewelry community.
